USS Waller (DD-466) at sea, July 1960
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS Waller (DD-466) at sea in July 1960, when she was equipped as an anti-submarine warfare vessel. Her second 5in gun has been replaced with 'Weapon Alpha', a forward firing anti-submarine rocket, while the older Hedgehog rocket launcher can just be made on as a dark rectangle below the bridge structure.
