Mrc C F Uhlmann christens USS Uhlmann (DD-687)
Here we see Mrs C F Uhlmann christening the Fletcher class destroyer USS Uhlmann (DD-687) at the Bethelehem Yard, New York on 30 July 1943. The destroyer was named after her son Robert William Uhlmann, an airman who was killed at Pearl Harbor.
