Installing new 5in gun, USS Taussig (DD-746)

Here we see Seaman L.J. Kusak and Senior Chief Gunner's Mate A.A. Epperson from USS Dixie (AD-14) installing a new 5in gun on the Allan M Sumner USS Taussig (DD-746) at Subic Bay in the Philippines in 1969. Most of the gun house has had to be removed to allow the new 5in gun to be lowered in to place.
