Conde and USS South Carolina (BB-26), Haiti, 1914
Here we see the French Gloire class armoured cruiser Conde (left) and the South Carolina class battleship USS South Carolina (BB-26) during an intervention on Haiti in 1914. This dates the picture to early February when both ships were in the area to protect their national interests in the aftermath of a coup.
