USS Rowan (DD-782), Western Pacific, 1965
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS Rowan (DD-782) in the western Pacific early in 1965. She has undergone her FRAM upgrade, and we can see the DASH hanger and launch pad behind the rear funnel and the ASROC anti-submarine rocket launcher amidships.
