AD Skyraiders and F9F Cougars on USS Philippine Sea (CV-47)
Here we see the rear flight deck of the USS Philippine Sea (CV-47) filled with Douglas AD Skyraiders with three Grumman F9F Cougars nearer to the camera. At the time the carrier was operating with the Seventh Fleet. From this angle we also get a good view into two of the anti-aircraft gun pits.
