USS Phelps (DD-360) off New York Navy Yard, 1945
Here we see the Porter class destroyer USS Phelps (DD-360) off the New York Navy Yard on 8 August 1945, after she had returned the city at the end of her final crossing of the Atlantic. She was decomissioned three months later, on 6 November 1945.
