USS Perkins (DD-877) refuels from Yorktown (CVA-10)
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS Perkins (DD-877) refueling from the Essex class carrier USS Yorktown (CVA-10) in August 1953, when they were both heading west across the Pacific towards Korea (although they arrived as the armistice was coming into effect).
