Here we see the Bagley class destroyers USS Patterson (DD-392) and USS Jarvis (DD-393) being launched from the Building Dock at the Puget Sound Navy Yard on 6 May 1937. At this point it is possible to see how narrow the base of the bridge structure was, something that becomes less obvious as the ships were completed and more clutter added.
