Here we see the crew of the armoured cruiser USS New York (ACR-2) cheering the USS Oregan (BB-3) after some of the fighting in the Spanish-American War

This ship went through three names and two designations. From 1893-1911 she was USS New York (ACR-2). From 1911-1917 she was USS Saratoga (ACR-2). From 1917-1920 she was USS Rochester (ACR-2). From 1920 until she was scuttled in 1941 she was USS Rochester (CA-2).
