USS Montana (ACR-13) at Philadelphia Founders Week, 1908
Here we see the Tennessee class armoured cruiser USS Montana (ACR-13) dressed with flags for the Philadelpha Founders Week in 1908. This picture gives a good view of the two-tone paint scheme typical of warships of the period, with the white hull and darker upper works. We also get a good view of the layout of her guns, with six 6in guns at either end of the gun deck battery and single 6in guns at either end of the main deck battery. Between them are some of the 3in guns.
