Kamikaze damage to USS Leutze (DD-481)
Here we see the damage caused to the stern of the Fletcher class destroyer USS Leutze (DD-481) after it was hit by one Japanese aircraft off Okinawa on 6 April 1945. She was still being repaired when the war ended, and never re-entered service.
