Here we see the amidships and stern areas of the Benham class destroyer USS Lang (DD-339)
from above, at Mare Island Navy Base on 25 October 1943. Her decks are now very crowded, with extra anti-aircraft guns, anti-submarine weapons and in this picture a lot of barrels, including quite a few packed in around her no.3 gun.
