USS Lake Champlain (CV-39) catapults two F2H Banshees
Here we see two McDonnell F2H-2 Banshees that have just been catapulted off the Essex class carrier USS Lake Champlain (CV-39) on 15 June 1953, to take part in the carrier's first strikes during the Korean War.
