USS Heermann (DD-532), early 1950s
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS Heermann (DD-532) at some point in the early 1950s, when she still carried her wartime radar and had her original 5in guns. Later in the post-war period she was given some 3in anti-aircraft guns, which aren't seen on this photo.
