USS Hambleton (DD-455) and USS Rodman (DD-456) being launched, 1941
Here we see the Gleaves class destroyers USS Hambleton (DD-455) and USS Rodman (DD-456) being launched at Kearney's New Jersey plant on 26 September 1941. Both ships appear to be at the same stage of construction with the main part of the superstructure installed, but no main guns and a lot of work yet to do.
