USS Gurke (DD-783) off San Francisco, 1958
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS Gurke (DD-783) off San Francisco in 1958, with an odd look vertical antenna on her foremast. Later pictures show her with another antenna in front of this, in a more normal installation.
