USS Frankford (DD-497) at New Yor, 19 June 1945
Here we see the Gleaves class destroyer USS Frankford (DD-497) at New York on 19 June 1945. Note that the forward torpedo tubes have been replaced with extra 40mm guns, possibly to prepare her for service in the Pacific, although she arrived there after the end of the war.
