USS Erben (DD-631), c.1951
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS Erben (DD-631), probably just after she had been recommissioned on 19 May 1951, ready to take part in the Korean War. At this point she is still largely in her Second World War configuration, complete with all five of her original 5in guns, torpedo tubes and depth charge rails.
