USS Epperson (DD-719), inclining experiment, Pearl Harbor, 1957
Here we see the Gearing class destroyer USS Epperson (DD-719) undergoing an inclining experiment at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard on 8 July 1957. Although she hasn't undergone a major refit at this date, her second 5in gun turret had been replaced by a Weapon Alpha rocket firing anti-submarine weapon.
