USS Dewey (DD-349) on her builder's trials
Here we see the Farragut class destroyer USS Dewey (DD-349) undergoing her builders trials at Bath, Maine, in mid 1934. She is flying the Bath Iron Works flag, and her guns have yet to be installed. Note the raised front of the upper gun platform, presumably designed to prevent it firing into the forward gun.
