Firefighting Demo on USS Cowell (DD-547), 1968
Here we seen a audience watching a firefighting demo on the fantail of the Fletcher class destroyer USS Cowell (DD-547) on a Dependent's Day Cruise on 21 September 1968. This wouldn't have been such a good location for the demo before the wartime depth charge racks were removed.
