HMS Cooper (DD-695), March 1944
Here we see the Allen M Sumner class destroyer USS Cooper (DD-695) in March 1944, when she was newly completed. The censors have removed the radar antenna on top of the gunnery director above the bridge. The Cooper had a very short career, and was sunk on 3 December 1944 during the campaign in the Philippines.
