USS Braine (DD-630), c.1944
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS Braine (DD-630) at sea at some point in 1944. She is painted in wartime camouflage, and spent most of the year in the Pacific war zone, taking part in the invasion of the Marianas and the Philippines.
