Boy Scouts visit USS Boxer (CV-21), 1952
Here we see Boy Scouts from the Washington Heights Troop of Tokyo visiting the Essex class carrier USS Boxer (CV-21) at Yokosuka in the summer of 1952. Washington Heights was a housing complex for the United States Armed Forces in Japan and was used from 1946 to 1964.
