USS Alfred A Cunningham (DD-752), 1964
Here we see the Allan M Sumner class destroyer USS Alfred A. Cunningham (DD-752) at sea on 9 August 1964, two days before she reached Long Beach after six months spend in the western Pacific. By this date she has been given a small hanger and helicopter landing pad towards her stern.
