USS Abbot (DD-629) at Sea, 1958
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS Abbott (DD-629) photographed from the Antietam (CVS-36) at sea at some point in 1958. This picture must have been taken before July, when the Abbott was sent to the Mediterranean in response to a crisis in the Lebanon, while the Antietam remained in American waters.
