MAC-Ship Ancylus
This picture shows the Merchant Aircraft Carrier Ancylus, with two of her three Swordfish on deck with wings folded (the photo may have been taken from the third). The Ancylus operated 836G flight from November 1943 to May 1944 and 836D flight from August-October 1944, so this picture was probably taken during one of those periods. Later on it was used to ferry aircraft across the Atlantic so the deck would have been packed with aircraft.
