M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage watching the Rhine
Here we see a gunner manning the M45 Quadmount, a turret that carried four .50in M2 Browning Machine guns. This particular mount is being carried on an M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage, although most of the vehicle is hidden behind a protective earth bank. In the background Allied vehicles are crossing a pontoon bridge across the Rhine.
