Leading Aircraftman D.C.K. England and Friends

Leading Aircraftman D.C.K. England and Friends

Here we see Leading Aircraftman D.C.K. England of No.42 Squadron and a group of his friends, probably seen after the squadron moved to the Burma front, judging by the setting (and the shorts).

The standing figures are (from left to right) - Unwin, Taylor and Goodwin

The sitting figures are (from left to right) - Leading Aircraftsman D.C.K. England (1483764), his pal Jim, Rankin and Johnson. Sadly no name is given for their dog mascot.

Many thanks to Tracey England for sending us this picture, which came from the collection of her father, Leading Aircraftsman D.C.K. England, who served with the Squadron in Britain and Burma.
