HMS Taurus returns home from nineteen months in Far East
Here we see the T class submarine HMS Taurus returning home after nineteen months in eastern waters. Her 'Jolly Roger' flag records her exploits - on the left six ships damaged by torpedoes and one damaged, on the right eighteen gun actions including one with a warship, at the top twenty four mines destroyed (or possibly laid) and at the bottom five 'cloak and dagger' special missions. She survived the ar, and was later given to the Dutch, where she served as the Dolfijn.
