HMS Mansfield in North Atlantic, 1943
This picture shows the Town class destroyer HMS Mansfield on convoy escort duty in the North Atlantic in June 1943 (not a very summery scene!). The Mansfield was previously the Wickes class destroyer USS Evans (DD-78).
