HMAS Australia before being scuttled, 1924

Here we see the Indefatigable class battlecruiser HMAS Australia just before she was scuttled in 1924 to satisfy the terms of the Washinton Naval Treaty. From this angle we can see her two wing turrets, and the hole where the central funnel had been removed.
