P-47 Thunderbolt and Fw-190 from below
This comparative photo from the US Recognition Magazine shows a Republic P-47 Thunderbolt and Focke-Wulf Fw 190 from below, showing the two main radial powered US and German fighters. From this angle the key difference is size, but in combat the more angular shape of the Fw 190's wings would have been key.
