Here we see the first Waco XCG-13 (43-28245) from the left. This view shows us the glazed nose, which could open up to give access to the fuselage, and skids under the fuselage in case the landing gear failed. This was the only example of the CG-13 built with tail wheel landing gear - the second prototype and the production models all used tricycle landing gear.
