Consolidated C-87 Liberator Express in Flight
Here we see the Consolidated C-87 Liberator Express, a long range transport based on the B-24 Liberator, with the armament and bombing equipment removed and the fuselage modified to carry cargo or passengers. Aircraft 44-52987 came from a small batch of aircraft that came fairly late in the production of the C-87.
