This side view of a Boeing B-29 Superfortress gives us a good idea of the overall layout of the aircraft. It's most distinctive feature is the rounded nose, which lacks the normal cockpit 'step' seen on most heavy bombers of the period. We can also see several of the gun turrets - two below, one above and the tail position can be seen clearly, and the top of the upper-rear turret is just about visible.
