B-29 Superfortress and B-17 Flying Fortress together
Here we see Boeing's two big bombers, the B-29 Superfortress and B-17 Flying Fortress, flying together. The B-29 was about half as big again as the B-17, so the difference in size is somewhat exagerated in this picture by the relative position of the two aircraft.
