Jet Assisted Take Off of North American B-25 Mitchell
Here we see a North American B-25 Mitchell in the middle of a Jet Assisted Take Off (JATO). The flames from the rockets can be seen on both sides of the aircraft. On the right we also get a clear view of the main wheel as it folds back into the engine nacelle.
