B-17 'Thunderbolt' of 1st Air Division

Here we see B-17 'Thunderbolt', of the 1st Air Division, 8th Air Force, identified by the triangle tale marking. The number '2' within the tail is a bit of a mystery, as 8th Air Force bombardment groups all used single letter codes.
