B-17 with no nose being salvaged

Here we see a B-17 Flying Fortress that is being salvaged for parts to repair other aircraft. Two engines have already been removing, giving us a clear view of how they were attached to the B-17. Robert Tucker Sr is seen in front of the aircraft.
