B-17 Flying Fortress over Ludwigshaven
Here we see a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress during a bombing raid on Ludwigshaven in the autumn of 1944. The targets were chemical and synthetic oil plants in the area, which were the target of eight B-17 raids between 3 September and 3 October 1944.
