A-10 No.707 of 118th TFS, Iraq, 2003

This side view of Fairchild A-10 Thunderbolt II no.707 of the 118th TFS was taken in Iraq in 2003, and gives a good view of the shape of the fuselage and the complex pilot's seat. Also notice the black lightning bolt on the tail, originally designed by Lt Col Phil Dickey for the squadron's Second World War era Mustangs.
