This frontal view of Fairchild A-10 Thunderbolt II no.646 of the 118th TFS was taken in Iraq in 2003, and gives us a good close-up view of the barrel of the General Electric GAU-8 Avenger seven barrelled 30 mm Galting-type autocannon, some of the under-wing weapons, and one of the jet intakes.
