Grenade being Thrown to Support Eighth Army on the Senio, 1945
Here we see troops from the 8th Army throwing grenades to support an 8th Army attack on a German strong point on the south bank of the Senio. This was probably early in Operation Buckland (the battle of the Argenta Gap), the British contribution to the Spring Offensive of 1945.
