57mm M1 Anti-tank gun, Normandy
Here we see US troops operating an 57mm M1 anti-tank gun, a US version of the British QF 6-pounder gun, introduced into US service to replace the underpowered 37mm M3. This gun is being used close to the German front line somewhere in Normandy.
