This picture shows the back of the membership certificate for the 30th Bombardment Group Association.
The back lists the group's areas of operations and bases - Alaska, Hawaii, Ellis Islands, Phoenix Islands, Gilbert Islands, Marshall Islands, Caroline Islands, Mariannas Islands, Wake Islands, Marcus Island, Iwo Jima and the Bonin Islands, tracing its progress across the Pacific.
Many thanks to Robert Hall for sending us these pictures, which came from his father-in-law Lt. Col John Marie Robert Audette, an intelligence officer in the Pacific, serving with the 38th Bombardment Squadron, 30th Bombardment Group.
