Here we see the crest of No.1 British Flying Training School, based at Terrell, Texas. Around the edge is the school's moto - Mare Nos Dividit Sed Caela Conjungunt - 'The Seas Divide and the Sky Unites'. The crest was designed by Cadet Frank Miller and contained the British Lion, the lone star of Texas, two hands clasped in friendship and an American Eagle.
