US 155mm Gun M1 (Long Tom) on Rendova Island
Here we see US troops moving a 155mm Gun M1 ('Long Tom') in the mud on Rendova Island. Once in place the gun was used to bombard the Japanese base at Munda on the mainland of New Georgia.
