122mm Howitzer M1938 of 1st Ukrainian Front, 1944
Here we see two 122mm Howitzer M1938s being towed behind tracked vehicles of the 1st Ukrainian Front, at some point in 1944. The gun can be identified by the unusual shape of the gun shield, which it only shares with a rather larger 152mm weapon.
